CAN C®

One of our Rock Fall systems, the CAN C® Rock Fall barrier does not have the uphill weaknesses found in some traditional Rock Fall netting systems containing uphill wires and posts in line with the rock containment nets.

Furthermore, CAN C® Rock net barrier, which do not use an irrenversible braking system, allow successive rockslides to be intercepted while maintaining an effective geometry. This significantly reduces the maintenance of the CAN C® Rock Fall Protection barrier. When the fence is stressed beyond nominal capacity, a fuse system protects the integrity of the entire system, therefore reducing damage to the components. The support posts and guidelines are downhill from the cable netting, it uses dissipation of energy by reversible deformation of the structure and the cable net.

CAN C1® catch fences are fitted with a reinforced support post to improve the angle of incidence of the guide lines and to allow the dissipation of high energies. The Rock Fall system and cable installation is durable, easy to install and environmentally fiendly. The system can be adaped with different types of nets such as wire mesh or ring nets commonly called antisubmarine nets.
